5 Scriptures to Hold on to in Times Like This

Hey Mamas & Papas! How are you all holding up? I bet you didn’t see this coming. Or at least I didn’t. I would have never thought we’d spend time quarantining from the world in 2020. Nonetheless, we are still blessed through it all and I pray that you all have gotten to use this time to get closer to God, your families and yourselves. One realization that I’ve recently come to is that no matter what, God is still the glue that holds us together during trying times. He loves us and wants to see us thrive past hardships. He is our way maker, promise keeper and light in the darkness. Even when we don’t see it, He’s working. He never stops working.

With that realization, I thought it would be fitting to share the Word with my readers. Here’s a few scriptures that I hope encourage you. I hope these words strengthen you and that your faith is made strong during times like this.

Peace “casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].” 1 Peter 5:7 AMP

Understanding “Trust in and rely confidently on the LORD with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.” Proverbs 3:5 AMP

Love “Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening].” 1 Corinthians 13:7 AMP

Strength “He gives strength to the weary, And to him who has no might He increases power.” Isaiah 40:29 AMP

Joy “Be devoted to one another with [authentic] brotherly affection [as members of one family], give preference to one another in honor; never lagging behind in diligence; aglow in the Spirit, enthusiastically serving the Lord; constantly rejoicing in hope [because of our confidence in Christ], steadfast and patient in distress, devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength], contributing to the needs of God’s people, pursuing [the practice of] hospitality.” Romans 12:10-13 AMP

Love you all deeply and hugging you tight.
