After 32 days in the NICU, I felt that it was extremely important for our baby to have a newborn photoshoot. I wanted to commemorate the fact that he made it out alive and well, despite the odds.

I want to encourage you to always cherish your baby in some physical/digital form whether it’s a professional photoshoot, your own photos, or you simply writing in a baby book. Whatever your methods are, save your memories. In today’s digital age, there’s no reason you can’t keep photos or videos of your pride and joy. I’ll always have these photos whether I choose to print them or not, so that when my baby isn’t a baby anymore I can look back at where he began. I’ll always celebrate his birth, his fight for life and the fact that God is real and He saved our baby.
